Delvene Cockatoo-Collins, a renowned Quandamooka artist, has made a lasting impact through various prestigious projects. Among her notable works are the design of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Medals, the ‘Eugaries’ public artworks at Point Lookout (Mulumba), the 2024 Brisbane Broncos Indigenous Round Jersey, and the ‘Land, Sea and Sky’ installation at the Brisbane International Airport Terminal, to name a few.
Situated in Dunwich (Goompi) on North Stradbroke (Minjerribah), the Delvene Cockatoo-Collins Art studio and retail store embodies her independent spirit as a First Nations artist. Here, Delvene handprints and naturally dyes stories passed down from her mother and grandmother onto linen homewares and clothing.
