Redland Museum
Redlands Coast is steeped in history and Redland Museum in Cleveland (Nandeebie) is the place to discover how the face of this beautiful city of villages and islands has changed and evolved over time. An award-winning community museum driven by the passion of volunteers, the museum showcases a vast range of exhibitions across multiple buildings. Learn about the farming days of Redlands Coast and marvel at the stunning, floor to ceiling mural in the Dan Holzapfel Farm Pavilion. Experience a blacksmith display, chapel, school classroom, post office and bedroom from yesteryear and many other historical treasures. Delight in the museum’s outstanding textiles displays and doll collection. Redland Museum also stages a calendar of special exhibitions, events and concerts and is home to the Australian Toy Hall of Fame – the only one of its kind in the country. The museum is located at 60 Smith Street, Cleveland. Open Monday to Sunday 10am – 3.30pm.
