Picnics and playgrounds

With an abundance of stunning landscapes and magnificent coastal panoramas, a picnic spot is never far away on Redlands Coast. Bush enthusiasts will love Venman Bushland National Park in the hinterland village of Mount Cotton(Jungalpin/Tungipin), while water lovers will find beautiful coastal picnic areas spread right across the Coast. Picnic, barbecue, play and swim on the rising tide at G.J. Walter Park or Raby Bay Foreshore Park, both in Cleveland (Nandeebie) The southern end has Thompson’s Beach at Victoria Point, Redland Bay’s Sel Outridge Park, and others waiting to be explored. The Coast’s islands also offer a vast range of naturally wonderful spots for winding down, relaxing, and enjoying a picnic either solo or with friends and family.
