Old SchoolHouse Gallery Art Exhibition "Springtime - Birds and Bees"

The Old SchoolHouse gallery is excited to be welcoming the new season with the exhibition Springtime - Butterflies, Birds, Blossoms and Bees".

Gallery members Vicki Whalan, Margaret Rose Howick and Suzy Bryer along with guest Tina Horton present a wonderful exhibition, showcasing all that spring has to offer.

Vicki is showcasing a new series of butterflies, bees and moths, inspired by a recent visit to Kuranda butterfly house, along with one of her favourite subjects, spring flowers. Complimenting these will be handmade linens and a small range of jewellery.

Margaret Rose has always marvelled at the perfection that Mother Nature creates. She never tires of nature’s intricate tapestry - tone, colour, texture, light and shade which she captures in her beautiful watercolour and mixed media work.

Suzy of Lazy Suzy Mosaics breathes new life into forgotten treasures from op shops and country stalls. These recycled or second-hand materials are transformed into enchanting bird and insect baths, along with other mosaic marvels.

Tina, an amazing silversmith, will showcase many of her unique jewellery pieces. They are excited to welcome Tina back to the gallery for this special exhibition.
