A Girl’s Guide to World War is based on the true story of Australia’s own Dr Agnes Bennett, who was the first female commissioned officer in the British Army.

A Girl’s Guide to World War is the first regional Queensland theatre production to win the major Matilda award for Best New Australian Work.
