Celebrating International Women's Day at the Redland Museum!
Enjoy afternoon tea, meet the author of A Girl's Guide to World War, and participate in a Q&A session with Katy Forde, interviewed by Jan Nary.
Discover the inspiring story behind 'A Girls Guide To World War'. The musical (showing at RPAC on International Women's Day 8th March) tells the untold story of two Aussie women doctors, Dr Agnes Bennett and Queensland's own Dr Lilian Cooper. During World War One, they try to join the army. Rejected because of their gender, they find their own way to the frontline: and together, make history.
The Q&A talk starts at 1pm followed by a delicious Devonshire Tea. An event you don’t want to miss.
