"I wanted to learn more about the impact of humans on the natural environment and became interested in ecosystems in urban areas – anthropogenic biomes. I'm particularly interested in heavily populated areas that are home to small fauna, like insects and reptiles, and flora like weeds and plants in backyards and public areas like the side of the road, between buildings, in carparks. I was interested in how they survive, what happens when we destroy their habitats and what affect does this have on humans and how we live." LeAnne Vincent
